Sclerotherapy is a popular treatment. The term refers to the “sclerosing” or chemical agent that is injected into a vein through a tiny needle. The sclerosing agent causes the vein to corrode, after which it is reabsorbed by the body. This minimally invasive procedure inflicts little if any discomfort or bruising.

Treatments are 30, 45 or 60 minutes. The length of treatment and price varies depending on the number of veins injected, their size and location.
